In preparing for a custom Estes Designs’ mailbox installation, our team will Call 811 two to three days prior to the installation team’s arrival to ensure we protect our customers.
Every six minutes nationwide a utility is damaged because someone decided to dig without first calling 811, according to data collected by the Common Ground Alliance. Without calling, the risk for serious injury or property damage is much higher for your family, property, and community. Estes Designs’ top priority is delivering the highest quality products and best-in-class customer service. By making the call to dig for our customers, our hope is to allow our customers to sit back and relax without the worry of damage. Safety is key and the Estes Designs’ installation team is trained to abide by the utility marks.
Although Estes Designs calls 811 prior to any mailbox installation, customers need to call for other small projects such as planting flower beds or shrubs. Utility lines can be buried only a few inches under the ground, so it is important to Call 811 for any size digging project. In Indiana, the standard notice needed is two days and the markings are valid for up to 20 days. The team is available 24 hours, seven days a week.
