Recently, I was on vacation in Longboat Key, Florida with my family. I was taking a morning bike ride when I came across two smiling structures waving at me on the side of the road and holding a mailbox. I was intrigued by these interesting figures, so I got off my bike to take these pictures. Later that day I was with my family shopping and noticed a store with these same sculptures! I immediately walked into the store to find out more. Here I met Scott Gerber, the creator and the owner of Tube Dude.
Scott told me about his company, his mission to keep people smiling, and his commitment to making quality products. He informed me that his structures are made of high quality rust-free, powder coated aluminum that would stay shiny for decades. I asked him about the mailboxes that were attached to some of these figures and he noted the importance of these also being powder-coated and all aluminum. Scott told me that his previous supplier discontinued offering all aluminum mailboxes, and he was having trouble finding an aluminum mailbox supplier that offered this echelon of quality.
