November saw a two-point increase in builder confidence for newly-built single-family homes. That’s the highest score since March, 2017, and the second highest since July 2005.
As we look toward 2018, one question remains – will this housing market continue to increase at the 2017 rate? NAHB Chairman Granger McDonald believes the readings we see now, which are close to post-recession numbers, are strong indicators of the housing marketing continuing its growth into the new year.
