Estes Designs recently worked with TWCG Property LLC to design and create a unique mailbox solution for the businesses near the Northwest side of Indianapolis. The owners of the commercial property wanted one centralized mail delivery and pickup location for its tenants. Not only did it need to be convenient, but the Cluster Box Unit (CBU) had to be safe and secure. Estes Designs jumped at the challenge of creating a CBU that best met the tenants’ needs for safety and one-stop access.
The partnership between the two companies resulted in the installation of a high-quality 8-unit CBU permanently and securely mounted to the concrete. Estes Designs suggested TWCG Property order a sandstone color to compliment the building’s facade.
Innovative solutions that provide convenience for everyone
Not only does the CBU unit create a centralized location for tenants to retrieve their mail items, but it also simplifies mail delivery for local carriers who had previously been required to deliver to several individual units. This ultimately results in easier routes for mail carriers in that area, and the CBU unit improvement was greatly appreciated by the local post office.
The CBU is also convenient for property management and owners, as they no longer have to install individual mailboxes for each of their tenants once one is damaged. Though this is a unique unit, CBU’s, in general, relieve the burden of maintaining and repairing multiple mailbox locations, provide security, and simplify the mail process for tenants and carriers.
