Long-term project for lasting neighborhood improvements
This past week, Estes Designs completed year three of a five year project with Salem Creek HOA, a single family community located on the west side of Indianapolis. The project was referred to us by Association Management, Inc. in 2016 and we jumped at the prospect of a long-term relationship, since the majority of the projects we tackle are require short-term solutions. The property manager knew we had the resources, patience, and attention-to-detail that would be needed to get the long term, large scale project completed on time and at a fair price.
Why five years?
A five year plan was beneficial from a price point perspective for Salem Creek, and we had the flexibility to meet their needs. From 2016 to 2019, we’ve spent the last three years repairing and replacing numerous mailbox and mailbox posts around the neighborhood, and Salem was able to reap the benefits that come with the passage of time. These benefits included increased cash flow, product improvements, process improvements, and installation improvements that we have made over the years that they otherwise wouldn’t have benefited from if the project had been a short-term commitment. Also, due to the five year, long-term nature of the project, Salem Creek was able to make the payments incurred for the project more manageable.
As a “customer first” company, Estes Designs is flexible and will work with our customers on price point and term agreements unlike many of our mailbox competitors. Other unique details of the project included replacing full sized Cluster Box Units, posts, mailboxes, and even salvaging some of the older posts with a fresh paintjob. The five year project will come to an end in 2021, and thanks to Estes Designs’ team, Salem Creek homeowners will all have state-of-the-art mailbox and mailbox posts.
