Estes Designs Christmas Mailbox Tradition
For the past three years, Estes Designs Mailbox and Streetscapes has supported a local community’s Christmas decorating contest. The community of Geist Harbours, in Indianapolis, Indiana holds an annual “Deck the Homes” contest.
All Geist Harbours’ Residents Want for Christmas is a Mailbox

Geist Harbours’ “Deck the Homes” contest tasks its residents with decorating their homes with Christmas lights and decorations. Houses are judged on the basis of creativity, use of lights, and holiday decorations. Pictures of all entries are displayed on the community’s Facebook page, @geistharbours. The house with the best holiday spirit wins an Estes Designs’ custom mailbox and gets bragging rights for the year.
The winner of the “Deck the Homes” receives an Estes Designs’ sailboat model mailbox, which is one of the Geist Harbours’ Property Owners Association’s (GHPOA) approved mailbox styles. Estes Designs installs the brand new mailbox and post for the winner.

This year’s contest ends at midnight tomorrow, December 20, 2019.
